Lesson Learned: Don’t Bring a Bike to an Air Defense Fight

Lesson Learned: Don’t Bring a Bike to an Air Defense Fight

What’s up, fam! We are back with the second installment of the Careless First Dose Sessions. If the first stream was a "trip," this one was a pure, adrenaline-fueled grind. We tackled missions three and four, and let’s just say Los Santos decided to remind me exactly who’s boss.

If you missed the live action, here is the recap of the chaos.

The "Ghost" Car & Garage Tours

We started the night with a bit of a bungle. I was hyped to show off the new podium vehicle—the Vizion—but GTA had other plans. The garage glitched, the car was a no-show, and I was left standing there in the mansion looking a bit embarrassed!

Since the surprise was ruined, we took a quick detour to check out the rest of the fleet, including the Progen I decked out specifically for the Dr. Dre contract. It’s always good to appreciate the high-fidelity details of these rides before they inevitably get riddled with bullet holes.

Fatal Incursion: The "Sweaty" Mistake

Mission three, Fatal Incursion, was supposed to be a straightforward hit on Merryweather. I thought I’d be smart and use the Oppressor MK2 to zoom through the targets. Pro tip: Don’t do that.

Merryweather’s air defenses are no joke. They swatted me out of the sky faster than you can say "careless." I ended up stuck on foot in a massive, "sweaty" gunfight. I ran out of grenade launcher ammo, my snacks were low, and I was basically fighting for my life with sticky bombs and a dream.

The Takeaway: If you’re running this mission, ditch the bike. Bring the Armored Kuruma and more firepower than you think you need. It was a 200 RP-per-kill grind that pushed my strength stats to the limit.

Retaliation at the Clubhouse

Just when we thought we could relax and deliver some party supplies for Dax, the Lost MC showed up and torched our loot. Dax was fuming, which meant it was time for some payback at their clubhouse.

This time, I played it smart. I stayed in the Kuruma, used the armored plating to my advantage, and cleared out the clubhouse with tactical precision. We grabbed the plans, bagged some extra cash, and made a clean getaway. It felt good to actually have a plan come together after the Merryweather disaster!

Closing with the Gains

We ended the session back at the Vinewood residence for some literal heavy lifting. I spent the last few minutes hitting the bench press to get those strength stats up—because after that Merryweather encounter, clearly, I need all the muscle I can get.

Join the Troop: We are officially two-thirds of the way through the First Dose series. We’ll be finishing the final two missions this coming Wednesday!

Catch the stream every Monday and Wednesday at 7:00 PM AEST.
