Careless Contracts #001: Diving Into the Dr. Dre Saga

Welcome back to the crew! If you missed the live action on February 2nd, you missed our longest and most "intense" stream yet. We officially kicked off the Careless Contracts Sessions, diving headfirst into the Dr. Dre Contract DLC. It was 90 minutes of high-stakes infiltration, heavy firepower, and a few moments where "careless" was definitely the right word for it.

Here’s the breakdown of how it all went down.

Stealth (Mostly) and Super Yachts

We started off strong at the Triad club. I actually managed to impress myself with some silenced pistol work—staying nimble and picking off security without turning the whole place into a war zone.

From there, we headed to the Pacific. Pro tip: forget the mission-provided boat. I took the Oppressor straight to the super yacht, cleared the deck, and secured the party invite in record time. It felt like a clinical operation... until the Diamond Casino.

The "Messy Way" at the Diamond

There is something about the beat for "Gospel" playing through those penthouse halls that just hits different. I tried to keep it classy, but the Diamond security had other plans. What started as a smooth retrieval turned into a "messy" shootout through the corridors. Between the alarms and the auto-aim struggles, it was pure GTA chaos, but we walked away with the data.

The Great Limo Hunt

Every stream has its "learning moment," and for this one, it was definitely the limo search. I spent a good chunk of time systematically combing the streets of Los Santos, nearly becoming a public menace on a flying bike. After a bit of "community research" (shoutout to the Reddit threads!), we finally found that elusive limo tucked away in the tunnel. It was a grind, but we got the job done.

The Billionaire’s Final "HODL"

The finale of the session took us to the billionaire’s yacht, appropriately named HODL. After a high-speed chase and a tense firefight on the deck, a single clean shot ended his ownership of Dre’s phone.

The flight back, however, was anything but smooth. After my helicopter took too much damage, I ended up in "desperation mode"—stuck in a slow civilian car with zero armor, spamming snacks (P’s & Q’s for the win) just to make it back to the Agency alive.

What’s Next?

We survived the first phase, but we’re just getting started. I’m heading back to the Agency to stock up on armor, hit the bed, and recover from the sweat.
